Where we share online bullies that Facebook and the Law allows to stalk, harass and bully others....these are grown adults!
Exceptions to free speech in the United States are limitations on the First Amendment's guarantee of free speech and expression as recognized by the United States Supreme Court. These exceptions have been created over time, based on certain types of speech and expression, and under different contexts. While freedom of speech in the United States is a constitutional right, these exceptions make that right a limited one.
Restrictions that are based on people's reactions to words include both instances of a complete exception, and cases of diminished protection. Speech that involves incitement, false statements of fact, obscenity, child pornography, threats, and speech owned by others are all completely exempt from First Amendment protections.
We are here to prove that Facebook is not concerned with the amount of negative people who have made it a career to bully, harass, stalk and slander total stranges on the net. We give credit to Myspace, Twitter and even Google for doing what they can to end these types of behaviors on their social sites. In todays age of the internet you can be anyone you want to be. But for some just being themselves puts them at risk. Where people are now taking what they think is a right and abusing our Freedom of Speech. Grown adults go online daily and harass, stalk and bully other adults. Slandering peoples names, jobs, lives and more. Time after time Facebook CLAIMS to be there for these people....truth be told they are NOT! There is constant harassment being reported on Facebook and NOTHING is ever truly done to stop these people. For over a year now a small group has silently sat watching these events happen day in and day out. The bullies will go to no ends to harass a person they have no real ties to. Never met these people a day in their lives. And for some this has scary consquences. What most fail to realize is there is a limit to even the Right to Speak. According to the Freedom Forum Organization, legal systems, and society at large, recognize limits on the freedom of speech, particularly when freedom of speech conflicts with other values or rights. Limitations to freedom of speech may follow the "harm principle" or the "offense principle", for example in the case of pornography, or hate speech. Limitations to freedom of speech may occur through legal sanction or social disapprobation, or both. So join us as we truly expose these people for who they are. BULLIES ON FACEBOOK!
